Click Firm > under Staff > Budgeting.

Click More and select Office Closures from the drop-down list.

For each branch office and/or all offices for the selected Date Range, add the public holidays and days when your firm will be closed.

Click New Public Holidays/Office Closed to add the public holiday or when your firm will be closed. The office closure could be a single day or a period of days.

Click Save.

Continue to add public holidays and office closure days as appropriate.

Edit any existing public holidays or office closure days, by clicking on it in the table. Edit the required information and click Save.

Delete any existing public holidays or office closure days that are no longer valid, by selecting it in the table and clicking Delete. Confirm the deletion by clicking OK.

Click Firm > under Staff > Budgeting.

Select the staff member from the Staff Name drop-down list then click Edit.

Select the Billable Hours Per Day and the Non-Billable Hours Per Day.

Enter the Billable Amount Per Day and the Fees Collected.

Enter or select the Start/End Dates for the budget.

Choose whether you're going to Include Office Closures by ticking the checkbox. Leaving the "Include Office Closures" option unticked will prevent the system from including public holidays or firm-specific closure dates in the budget.

Click the appropriate days of the week to include in the budget for the staff member.

For instance, you may have a staff member who only works certain days of the week.

Click Generate Budget.

The calendar will display the hours and the budgeted amount the staff member should record during the month along with weekly and monthly totals.

Repeat from step 2 for all other staff members.

Click Firm > Budgeting under Staff.

Select the staff member from the Staff Name drop-down list.

Click an item on any calendar day. The Budget window will appear.

Click Delete. Confirm the deletion by clicking OK.
