Introducing the Family Law Order Library

The Family Law Order Library is a purpose-built drafting resource, designed to support Australian family law practitioners at all stages of proceedings. The Library serves as a single, authoritative source for Orders that reflect current practice in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and Family Court of Western Australia.

The Orders are drafted to meet the needs in matters containing property, parenting and procedural issues. In addition to providing legally accurate Orders, the Family Law Order Library assists by pre-formatting Orders to support efficient, high-quality drafting by lessening the administrative elements of drafting Orders.

Efficiency

Centralised Access

The Order Library offers a comprehensive collection of commonly used family law Orders for inclusion in the drafting of family law forms including Consent Orders, Short Minutes of Order, and Terms of Settlement.

Instead of redrafting or recycling clauses from old matters, practitioners can access a curated suite of commonly used Orders for property, parenting and procedural issues.

Relevance

The Order Library is maintained and regularly updated to reflect changes in legislation, practice directions, and court requirements.

Practitioners can be confident that the Orders they rely on are correct and current, lessening the time spent in manual checks or external sourcing of Orders.

Consistency
