How To

If you are unable to log into LEAP, or reset your LEAP password because you're not receiving the MFA code, you can follow the steps below to pause MFA and remove all connected Authenticator devices.

Please note that these steps can only be performed by your Firm's LEAP Administrator.
If you are a single user firm and are unable to reset your password due to Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), please contact LEAP for further assistance.

From your Firm's LEAP Administrator's device, navigate to the LEAP Menu > Settings > Application Settings > Firm > under Staff > Members.
Your LEAP Administrator will need to temporarily pause MFA for you.

Click on your name to open your staff profile.
Click Multi-factor authentication on the left.
Your LEAP Admin will need to toggle the Require MFA option off. This will temporarily turn off MFA for 24 hours and allow you to log into LEAP.
Your LEAP Admin can then remove all connected Authenticator apps if needed so you can re-activate your Authenticator device once MFA automatically turns back on after the 24 hour period.

Under Multi-Factor Authenticator Apps, click Remove Authenticators.
Click Continue and enter the LEAP password to confirm the action.

Once the 24 hour period is up, you will be required to set up your Authenticator device the next time you log into LEAP.

If necessary, your LEAP Admin will also be able to reset your password from the Staff Members page.

Click the General Details tab.
Under Sign In Details, enter a new password.
Confirm the password in the Confirm Password field.
Click Save.
