Location: LEAP Menu > Accounting > Reports > Client Funds > Client Accounts Audit Report

Purpose: The Client Accounts Audit Report serves as a vital tool for tracking the history of matter maintenance, supporting internal audits and compliance reviews. 

The report captures all additions and modifications with precise, server-based timestamps, categorises actions into key types (Client Modified, Matter Modified, Matter Added and Card Added as Client), and provides clear before-and-after snapshots for any changes.

The Client Accounts Audit Report can also be generated through the General End of Month (EOM) process, resulting in a definitive, finalised Client Accounts record for that period.

Report Filters: 

Date Range

Displays all relevant additions and modifications that took place within a specified date range. 

NOTE: The Date Range should be less than a year. 

Report Filters:

Date & TimeIndicates the exact date and time an action (addition or modification) was recorded, using server time as the reference.
Type 

Specifies the category of the action performed. The available types include:

  • Client Modified:
    • Description: Changes made to a client's card details, including modifications or additions to names, addresses and associated people.
  • Matter Modified:
    • Description: Adjustments made to an existing matter. This may include changes to:
      • The matter number
      • Matter details
      • Matter type
      • The list of clients associated with the matter
  • Matter Added:
    • Description: Creation of a new matter.
  • Card Added as Client:
    • Description: A client card has been added to a matter, thereby registering the individual as a client.
BeforeShows the original data before a modification (Applicable only to modifications). 
After

Displays the final data after the change has been applied.
Additional Details:

  • For Additions: Displays the new information being added.
  • For Modifications: Displays the updated information following the change.
