Cost Agreement Received and Outstanding Report

Location: LEAP Menu > Reports > Matters & Clients > Cost Agreement Received and Outstanding

Purpose: Lists matters marked as 'Cost agreement required' to track whether a cost agreement has been received from clients, filterable by matter opened date range. 

Trigger: For a matter to be included in the report, the 'Cost agreement required' checkbox must be ticked under the Accounting tab in the Matter Details window.

Please note that the Date Range filter (Start Date and End Date) is based on Date Opened entered in the Calendar & Tasks tab of matters. 

Report Filters:

Date Range

 Displays all matters with a Date Opened within the selected date range.

NOTE: The selected date range must be less than one year.

Group ByGroup the results by:
  • None: No grouping is applied. 
  • Staff Acting
  • Staff Responsible

Report Fields:

Matter No.The Matter number.
DescriptionThe Matter description.
ClientThe matter's client. 
Instruction DateThe Matter's Date Opened set in the Calendar & Tasks tab.
Resp.The Person Responsible on the matter.
Act.The Person Acting on the matter. 
Client PhoneThe first phone number on the client card.
Received DateThe Date Received as entered for the Cost Agreement in the Matter Details window.
