To ensure compatibility with LEAP, Microsoft 365 Business Standard or Enterprise is required. If Home & Business is installed, please contact your IT department to arrange for the appropriate version.

Please configure your Word Add-ins as detailed below to resolve any connection issues between Microsoft Word and LEAP.

In Word, go to File > Options > Add-ins.
Click Go next to Manage COM Add-ins.
Deselect to disable any third-party add-ins such as Adobe PDF and Adobe Document Cloud as they can conflict with the LEAP add-in (Microsoft add-ins are acceptable).
Ensure the LEAP Office for Word add-in is selected and click OK.
Ensure the email on your LEAP account matches the email configured in Word and Outlook.
If you're still experiencing issues with LEAP and Word, please perform an Automation Repair, restart your device and then check if the problem persists.

Antivirus software and firewall solutions have an aggressive approach to protecting your computer. Sometimes they can block harmless files due to the file’s name, size, data or actions.

To resolve this, please add LEAP to your Antivirus Exceptions list.
